Hi! My name is Tara and I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 35 years. Together we have three amazing grown sons, three wonderful daughter-in-laws, and five precious grandchildren.

Although I had a very fulfilling career as an elementary school teacher, my heart has always centered on my family and homemaking!

Sewing is a hobby and homemaking skill that I loved as a child and teenager! However, as many of you know, life gets busy and sometimes things we love get discarded due to time and responsibilities.

Now that I’m retired, I enjoy having the time to sew for myself and my grandchildren. My goal is to challenge myself with more difficult projects to increase my sewing skills and to enjoy the process along the way! I would love for you to follow along on my sewing journey!
